 a short Thank You

Mangamingi Timber & Supplies supplied the timber for the easels that were built for the Derek Parker Little exhibition that was held in the Eltham Town Hall recently.

They were so helpful by cutting the timber into the lengths we needed which was a huge benefit!

They are also sponsoring timber for a workshop being built by the E Kai garden.

So, Thank You :)

Eltham Toilet Revamp Project
The Eltham Community Development Group invites artists to be part of the Eltham Public Toilet Revamp Project. The project aims to provide public toilets in Eltham with a WOW factor that visitors will enjoy.
Along with the eye catching exterior design (that includes a cheese shaped veranda and bright poles), the interior of the toilets will showcase Eltham’s creativity and art. The art work will depict local attractions, events and show what Eltham means to the artist. There is a choice of two sizes of artworks for artists to submit design proposals in any medium. Artists specify if they want to donate time to the project, or if their work is commissioned. Artworks need to be robust and practical and will be framed to be consistent with the

Elthams Snow Day 15.08.11

We woke up to around 10 cm of snow. The kids were excited and so were quite a few adults. Being that its unusual to get snow in Eltham, and this being even more unusual in that it was the 2nd time it had snowed here in 3 weeks. I went for a walk around town and took some photos. People were out playing in the snow and others were out taking photos like I was. It was just beautiful.
